Description
A small, and very hardy, densley branched, evergreen tree of compact habit. The smooth, somewhat shining leaves lanceolate with finely tapered points, remotely toothed,k dark green above, paler beneath, purple-red when unfolding, much later then those of Q.glauca and escaping spring frosts.
