Description
Magnolia campbellii ‘Darjeeling’
A spectacular deciduous tree, Magnolia campbellii ‘Darjeeling’ is known for its large, deep rose-pink, tulip-shaped flowers that appear on bare branches in late winter to early spring. Best suited to cool, temperate regions of Australia, it can grow 10–15 metres tall over time. Requires a sunny to partly shaded spot with deep, well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Protect from strong winds and late frosts to preserve flower buds. Ideal as a grand specimen tree in large gardens or park-like settings.
