Horoeka, or lancewood. Long strappy , blade like leaves softening and widening a little on mature trees as per ones in photo. A New Zealand native tree , of the family Araliaceae. Growing throughout New Zealand from ocean level up to 7-800 metres , Lancewood can reach a tree height of 15 metres. Great architectural trees in the landscape adding something unlike any other tree.
