This Himalayan ginger lily will grow to 2m, lance shaped leaves with orange to red fragrant flowers up 50cm long.

Awarded the Garden Merit cetrificate by the RHS, Hedychium coccineum 'Tara' prefers a humus rich well drained soil, sun to semi shade. Grown for its exotic flowers this ginger lily is great as a feature plant or at the rear of the border.
