Nyssa sylvatica Autumn Cascades
This a selection made from a batch of seedlings by Arnold Teese at Yamina
many years ago. It has a strongly weeping habit and will form a weeping
mound if not trained up when young. It has shiny green leaves in summer and
brilliant red, orange and green leaves in autumn. Easy to grow in most
conditions. Extra water in summer is helpful. Reliably colours even in more
northern areas. Recently it appeared on the cover of the American Nuseryman
magazine as a superior new introduction . Ironic as it is a native of
eastern USA. 20 cm pots @ $35. |
