Salix hakuru Nishiki Leaves conspicuously blotched with white. Pretty when in young leaf but has a rather weak constitution.

sambucus nigra © 2013 (Elderberry) Commonly referred to as Elderberry.  A lovely fragrant shrub with white flowers followed by dark purple berries. Often used for preserves and jams. Grows to around 3m x 3m. Great purple foliage.

Sambucus nigra Guincho PurpleBlack purple foliage form of "Elderberry" , making a large deciduous shrub. It may be pruned and easily kept as a bushy 1.5-2 metre shrub. The flat white flushed lilac flowers contrast strikingly well with the black-purple foliage.

Sambucus nigra laciniataCut Leaf Elderflower ... Large deciduous shrub/small tree for a half shade position , for best results. Large flat white Plate Size flowers in early summer. Elderflower ( species nigra forms ) are useful plants and there are many easy too find online recipes too prepare them. Elderberry Wine and Cordials , syrup and many herbal benefits.

Sambucus nigra MadonnaGold & Green Variegated Elderberry. Deciduous shrub that will reach 2-3 metres.  Elderberrys grow in sun or part shade and like deep watering and some afternoon protection from extreme hot & dry winds.

Leaflets with an irregular, creamy white margin.
